To apply for a loan

All applications must be made on the Foundation East Application Form.

From the website download the business loan application form to your PC and save it. You can type in the boxes by right clicking the mouse or you can print the form and fill it in by hand. We will accept either typed or handwritten applications but please remember to sign the application form before you send it to us. If you send your application by e-mail, please print, sign and post the last page to us together with a note of your name and business name.

Before a Business Loans Manager can assess your application you must provide the following documents:

All applications
1. Loan application form completed and signed by all key people
2. Sales and costs predictions to match the period of the loan requested
3. Photocopies of the last 3 months Personal Bank Statements for all key people
4. The name, address, email address and telephone number of 2 personal references for start-ups businesses
5. A photocopy of your full Credit file report e.g. Credit Expert, Equifax, Experian for all key persons
6. Photocopies of Identification and address verification documents for all key people (see below for suitable forms of ID)
7. Letter of refusal to lend from a bank or an explanation (if available)

Established businesses only
8. Photocopies of the last 3 months Business Bank statements
9. Trade Debtor / Creditor Schedule
10. Management Accounts and last 2 years Annual Financial Statements
11. The name, address, email address and telephone number of 2 trade references
