Katy Ford – Chief Executive

KatyKaty joined Foundation East in February 2004 at its inception, initially taking on the role of Finance and Investment Manager. She was invited to become Chief Executive in March 2009. Prior to joining the society she managed the treasury department for Marsh Inc in Guernsey for 14 years. Her role as Chief Executive is to lead the strong staff team to deliver the Vision and Mission of Foundation East, and to ensure the values of the company are embedded at all levels.

 

 Peter Davis – Senior Business Loans Manager

Peter DavisPeter has worked for Foundation East since January 2005, following four years working for a Community Finance Provider in London managing a small team covering; Loan Fund Management, Mentoring and Credit control. Having previously covered Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire as the Business Loan Manager for those areas, he now co-ordinates and manages all activites of the Business Loans Mangers as well as reviewing and assisting with all applications before they are submitted to panel

 

 Bob Shimmon - Business Loans Manager

Bob had a 35 year career with the Lloyds Banking Group, with 20 years in the commercial sector. He has experience supporting business of all sizes and across all sectors, with specialist knowledge in medical, legal and rental services. Bob joined the team in July 2010 as a Busineess Loans Manager and is excited at the prospect of helping clients across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire to reach their full potential.

 

Peter Wood – Business Loans Manager

Peter WoodPeter joined Foundation East in January 2008 as Business Loans Manager for Essex. He graduated from Humberside College with a degree in Social Sciences. Peter has 19 years experience in Financial Services with three different banks, two building societies and an insurance company and has also worked in recruitment.

 

 Valerie Jarrett – Business Loans Manager

Valerie JarrettValerie spent 15 years working in the finance field including working for Lloyds Bank Ltd and a training company within their accounts office. She later went on to run her own business for 14 years. She built this from a run down business into a successful one employing an average of 12 staff. She has worked for Foundation East as a Business Loans Manager and enjoys the extensive mix of people she meets in the course of  her work.

 

 Phil Rose – Community Land Trust Development  Manager

Phil RosePhil has been working in the property industry for over 20 years. He has extensive experience of commercial, residential and community development projects working with landowners, private developers, housing associations and community organizations throughout the East of England. Phil joined Foundation East in 2010 and is passionate about the Community Land Trust model and its potential to create genuine community benefits. He now provides professional support and development advice to local groups as they seek to   establish Community Land Trusts within their own localities.
 

Rebecca Allen – Finance and Adminstration Manager

Rebecca is Foundation East's Finance and Adminstration Manager, taking responsibility for ensuring the loan portfolio quality is maintained. In addition she manages the day to day finance function. Rebecca has been with the compnay since April 2008.

  

 Asha Wysocka - Finance and Administration Assistant

Asha joined Foundation East in January 2011. She supports Rebecca in all aspects of financial processes.She has completed AAT level 2 in Accounting and wishes to advance within this field while enjoying working within this supportive and friendly team.
