Bob Marchant – Chief Executive
Bob spent 15 years with Midland Bank / HSBC effectively “learning the trade”: including extensive time spent in personal lending, small business lending, SME lending and corporate banking, as well as spending time as a Branch Manager.
Since 2000 he has enjoyed success in the 3rd sector. Firstly building up The Enterprise Fund into one of the leading enterprise-specific CDFI’s in the UK, and latterly helping re-establish a failing homeless charity before deciding the time and challenge were right to re-enter the community finance field with Foundation East.
Katy Ford – Deputy Chief Executive
Katy joined Foundation East in January 2003 having worked as Treasury Manager for Marsh Inc in Guernsey for 14 years. Her responsibilities include fund raising, funder relationships and reporting, accounting and delinquency management.
Peter Wood – Business Loans Manager
Peter joined Foundation East in January 2008 as Business Loans Manager for Suffolk and Essex. He graduated from Humberside College with a degree in Social Sciences. Peter has 19 years experience in Financial Services with three different banks, two building societies and an insurance company and has also worked in recruitment.
Peter Davis – Business Loans Manager
Peter has worked for Foundation East since January 2005, following four years working for a Community Finance Provider in London managing a small team covering; Loan Fund Management, Mentoring and Credit control. In his current role of Business Loans Officer he covers North Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
Valerie Jarrett – Business Loans Manager
Valerie spent 15 years working in the finance field including working for Lloyds Bank Ltd and a training company within their accounts office. She later went on to run her own business for 14 years. She built this from a run down business into a successful one employing an average of 12 staff. She has worked for Foundation East for 2 years as a Business Loans Manager and enjoys the extensive mix of people she meets in the course of her work.
Celia Sealey – Administration and Office Manager
Celia joined Foundation East in April 2003. Celia has a BSc Honors degree in Business Information Systems and has worked as a senior manager for both local and central Government primarily in the childcare sector.
Rebecca Allen – Finance Assistant
Rebecca is the Finance Assistant for Foundation East. Rebecca recently joined Foundation East to assist the Finance Manager and currently manages the loan finance for both business and personal loan clients
